The Shreveport Photographic Society is hosting a special sell off meeting of excess equipment and is open to the public for free.
The swap meet will allow members and the public to buy, sell, and/or trade anything photographic that they want to.
This includes cameras, tripods, lenses, lights, backgrounds, doodads, and more.
This meeting will be held today at 6:30 p.m. in the Bossier Art Center Annex building, 630 Barksdale Blvd. Bossier City. Attendees are encouraged to park in the back.
“Swap meets are a great place to find camera gear that you may not have even known you wanted,” said photographer Casey Habich, who has been to swap meets and trade shows in Little Rock, Baton Rouge, Dallas, and Phoenix.
“If you are just getting into photography you can usually find all the equipment you need to get started,” said Habich. “Most photographers trade up to new gear over time.”
Habich said the best part about these meet ups is the community. Feel free to talk with professional photographers to learn more about the trade.
The sale will be quick, so come early!
