As a brainchild of Shreveport native Nicholas Spinazze, the Lynxus app will allow users “to upload and request unedited, real-time content from anywhere in the world,” says the 26-year-old CEO.

Lynxus allows users to upload and request unedited real-time pictures and videos from anywhere in the world.

Lynxus was chosen as one of the Top 5 Finalists of last year’s Louisiana Start Up Prize, and it launches tomorrow – March 7 – on the iPhone platform.

Aptly named “Lynxers,” users of the app will have the ability to not only see events from around the globe, but to request seeing the content as well.

“From the colors of the Holi Festival in India, to the ebb and flow of Aurora Borealis in Alaska, to the lights and sounds of an EDM concert in Amsterdam;” you can post or request to see it all via the social news app developed straight out of Shreveport-Bossier City.

“Hear about something interesting happening in Malaysia, El Salvador, or South Korea? Request it, and a let a Lynxer from that location show you his or her world from a first-person perspective in real-time,” says Spinazze.

Attend the launch of Lynxus Saturday at Cohab in downtown Shreveport, 6:30pm. Prizes to include iPad mini, selfie sticks, t-shirts, koozies, and more.
