The annual Leadbelly Era Celebration, a graveside memorial jam, will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 25, at the Shiloh Baptist Church graveyard in Mooringsport, Louisiana, says Kathryn Hobgood Ray. Louisiana musicians will gather at the grave of Huddie “Leadbelly” Ledbetter, 10395 Blanchard Latex Road, to perform his songs. All are welcome.
