We brought you an update a few weeks back from reliable sources that all but confirmed two of the businesses that would open at Lofts@624 – a new retail and housing development in the West Edge district of downtown Shreveport. Those two businesses were an unnamed sushi restaurant and, of course, Rhino Coffee. Speculation of this kind isn’t something we normally would do, but it’s so damn exciting.

Tonight, however, and despite Rhino’s quiet denial, official print pieces from Lofts@624 have surfaced at the 40 Under 40 award ceremony that reveal concrete details about what you’ll find in Shreveport’s latest real estate development downtown. You weren’t fooling anyone with your attempt to hide Shreveport’s most anticipated opening, Andrew! From this piece, we can see four businesses are listed:

rock-n-sake: A Baton Rouge and New Orleans sushi restaurant that is making its way north.

Rhino Coffee: You all knew it would happen, but there it is in ink. (Update: And now an official announcement.)

Tips: A new upscale music venue from the people that brought you Tipitina’s Music Co-Op, currently open across the street from the Lofts.

The Vagabond Showroom: “A curated selection of vintage and handcrafted furniture and apparel.”

Which of these appeals to you most?
