Strutting, cracking, dancing, playing gimmicks, Flow Tribe is a witty, hard-working New Orleans-based sextet started in 2004. Check their videos – and there are many of them – to gauge whether you can see yourself bumping across the dance floor to their show.
Their sh** becomes technicolor locally when they perform at Strange Brew on Friday, December 15th at 9:00 p.m.. Cover is $10 in advance, $15 at the door.
The Tribe are indie-funk road warriors, playing 150+ club and festival dates a year, including JazzFest and Voodoo Music Fest.
The Tribe has won a steady round of local gigs, beginning with Derby Day 2015. Chase Boytim, one of Shreveport’s preeminent bookers, brought them to Fatty Arbuckle’s back in January of 2011, Highland Jazz and Blues Fest had them on stage last September, and several dates in between those times.
Musician Craig Falbaum remarks “They’re also a group of great guys. I always look forward to their visits.”
